Dr. Tara Zak

Dr. Zak is a 1995 UGA graduate living in the Hamilton Mill community. She has two sons, Briggs and Brandon and four dogs, Maggie and Murray (Parti Standard Poodles), and Virginia Rose and Stafford (Norfolk Terriers). In her spare time, she can be found barking at the Dawgs in Athens, on the tennis courts or at the gym. She also enjoys working with and helping rescue groups and abandoned and abused animals. Dr. Zak is AAHA affiliated.

Melissa Trent

Melissa began working in the veterinary field during high school and is one of the assistants who helped open the clinic with Dr. Zak. She lives in Dacula with her husband Cecil and their son, Jeremy. They have 2 dogs, Jacoby and Seger, as well as 2 cats, Jet and Josey. She is passionate about the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox!

Kim Garrett

Kim is married with 4 beautiful daughters and lives in Gwinnett co. She started working in the veterinary field as a receptionist when she was 18 years old. Over the years, she has learned what it takes to work closer to the animals as a veterinary assistant. She enjoys her job and the love and compassion she shows for each and every pet helps her excel.

Vicki has been here for 4 years. Originally from Washington state, Vicki has been grooming for over 20 years. She loves grooming and all her clients. She shares her home with her little Shih Tzu, Minnie.

Kelly is a recent addition to our hospital. Kelly is from Alabama, ROLL TIDE ! She lives in Bethlehem with her husband and children. She shares her home with 2 cats and her new rescue puppy.

Norma Diaz

Norma has been a groomer for over 20 years. She came to the US from Columbia and has now made her home here in Georgia. She attended grooming school in Florida. Norma shares her home with her 2 dogs, Tinqui and Ziqui.

Kirby came to us in December of 2017 at one year of age. His past times are laying on his log and eating superworms! Way too many!!
